THE BRIEF ISN’T ALWAYS THE ROOT CAUSE…
For example, during an internship program redesign, HR asked me to investigate what managers could improve. Instead of taking the assumption at face value and designing a solution for managers, I researched the entire ecosystem.
So what? I uncovered that the real friction was actually coming from HR and administrative processes!
By redefining the problem, we redirected our focus to where it actually generated impact, saving everyone’s time and solving the actual bottleneck!
